Ho Chi Minh City

After a very relaxing week in Con Dao, we finally went back to Ho Chi Minh City. As we arrived at the airport, we came accross a familiar French face, half asleep on a bench outside of the arrival terminal…
…Oh but wait, it’s Mum! 😀
Apparently she missed us so much that she decided to take a flight and come for a 3 weeks trip throughout the South of Vietnam with us! 😉

HCMC is the biggest city of Vietnam, so we were expecting to find a very busy, noisy and polluted city. And actually it was, but we still had a nice few days visiting the Bến Thành market, the war remnant museum, several temples, enjoying local food and climbing up to the Skydeck tower.

We stayed in HCMC for 3 days before finally taking a Grab to Vũng Liêm, in the heart of the Mekong delta.
