West of Surat Thani, North of Phuket, stand the Khao Sok National Park and its little brother, Klong Phanom, our last Thailand stops before returning to Vietnam. It is a quite peaceful area, with gorgeous and colorful mountains and yet not so crowdy.

One of Khao Sok’s main highlights is undoubtly the Cheow Lan lake, which we explored with a overnight tour, sleeping in a little bamboo bungalow, floating over the lake.
