On our way down South we stopped for a few days in Sam Roi Yot, a nice little beach town half-way between Bangkok and Chumphon.
The main attraction of the area is a 100km² wide National Park, offering karst landscapes, several caves, hiking trails and beautiful wetlands full of birds.

Around Sam Roi Yot
Besides the scenery, what we really liked about this place is that you can explore it on your own, using a motorbike and easily get lost in some small countryside roads. Not to mention it is not really a popular destination, making it even more relaxing.
